The BLU Resource Center — The Building Lifelong Understanding Center, LLC
The BLU Resource Center cares deeply about privacy and the safety of the young people and families we serve. Because our platform handles information relating to children, we design our privacy and security practices conservatively.
We collect only the information needed to run our programs and communicate with families, including:
We collect this information to provide safe, supervised care, to communicate important announcements and schedule updates, to manage enrollment and attendance, and to respond to family questions.
Information is used only by authorized BLU staff and administrators for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information.
Access is role-based and limited. Parents see only information related to their own family. Administrators see information according to their assigned permissions. Other families never see your information. Private messages are visible only to the people in that conversation.
Passwords are hashed. Access is authenticated and authorized with role-based controls. Sensitive records are protected, and important administrative actions are logged.
We send program announcements, reminders, and urgent notices through the portal, and — where you've opted in — via push or email. We do not send SMS without your consent and appropriate configuration.
Messages between families and our administrators are private and access-controlled. They are used to coordinate care and communication and are never shared with other families.
